Restoration Project Manager in Superior Restoration
- Minimum of 5 – 7 yrs work experience in restoration services;
- Proven knowledge of industry policies, procedures and control standards;
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to recognize and rectify problems;
- Driving record acceptable to insurance carrier;
- Ability to lift equipment weighing about 50 pounds;
- Basic mathematics skills; and
- Proven negotiation skills.
Directs and coordinates the mitigation function at the division level. Follows Restoration Guidelines. Ensures that customer property is protected and secured from further damage and is returned to its pre-damage condition using same like-kind quality materials.

- Follows established control systems, or assists in developing, implementing and maintaining such systems
- Demonstrate professional knowledge of all company products and services;
- Provides prompt and professional service to customers;
- Ensures proper training, certification and industry standards with all staff;
- Provides training and direction to water restoration staff;
- Inspects and provides estimates at job sites taking job measurements and notes for invoicing with supporting pictures or diagrams along with signed work authorization;
- Tracks work in progress and assures supplies and materials are ordered and time line figured. Checks completion of jobs including inspection of crews, paperwork and on-site visits. Determines the need for subcontractors, schedules and coordinates with RM;
- Maintains, grows and penetrates existing customers and accounts;
- Provides technical information and/or advice to customers and technicians;
- Fields customer questions and concerns, resolving all issues, or working with appropriate staff until issues are resolved;
- Develops Work in Progress (WIP) reports for active projects;
- Provides production support as assigned or needed;
- Communicates with insurance adjusters, customers and vendors regarding job progress, billing, job completion and job supplements or revisions;
- Operates company vehicle with good judgment, obeying all laws and rule of the road;
- Supports organizational teamwork and acts as an advocate for corporate values;
- Responds to emergency situations in a timely manner. Includes being available anytime to help coordinate the Restoration Department’s response to an emergency and the availability to travel on short-notice.
- Maintains a high level of personal grooming and appearance;
- Wears a clean, neat, and proper company uniform every day;
- Maintains effective working relationships at all levels of the company;
- Meets company standards for attendance and punctuality;
- Attends training meetings as required;
- Maintains acceptable driving record; and
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
This position at time is physically demanding. There is extensive walking, standing, stooping, and bending. Traveling to each job location requires the safe operation of a company vehicle. At times the Manager will assist other Restoration staff members in setting up the job site, or performing the work. The equipment must be unloaded from the vehicle and carried to the worksite. The equipment weighs approximately 50 pounds. At times equipment may need to be carried up stairs and down hallways.
