One of these cleanings included a hospital’s pediatric daycare unit wherein COIT was responsible for deep cleaning and deodorizing the carpets. Hospitals can become breeding grounds for pathogens, and a children’s daycare facility is even more likely to harbor and spread germs. The floors in this daycare unit were mostly carpeted and while carpeting is ideal for playtime, they can easily trap dirt, bacteria, dust mites, and allergens.

Using our commercial-grade equipment, COIT technicians deep-cleaned the carpets during after-hours to avoid disruption and accommodate the hospital’s schedule. The carpets in the daycare unit were stained and required professional attention to remove them. To protect the walls, our technicians used corner guards to ensure our equipment did not scuff paint or damage any surfaces as we worked. 

After a thorough deep cleaning and deodorizing, we applied COITGard™, a safe, stain-resistant protective coating, to extend the life of the carpets and keep them looking fresh.
