Position Summary

COIT Cleaning & Restoration Services is looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented individual to join our work family as a Fleet Mechanic. Fleet Mechanic will work in company garage on the fleet of vehicles COIT uses for the Specialists and Consultants to go to customers to provide services.

We will provide you with hands on PAID training.

Fleet Mechanic Responsibilities:

Maintaining vehicles or mechanical components inside vehicles according to requirements. Inspecting machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues. Conducting minor repairs as needed.
Service vehicles according to established preventive maintenance schedule. Rotate and balance tires; change oil and filters; lubricate vehicle parts; inspect and replace hoses, belts, mirrors, lamps; and maintain all fluid levels.
Maintain accurate, updated records of preventive maintenance.
Inspect vehicles and equipment. Evaluate condition of systems, equipment, accessories, and light service as needed.
Perform preventive maintenance on Plant equipment according to established schedules. Troubleshoots mechanical problems; learn to identify and repair them.
Assists on-road staff when break-downs occur.
Follows all applicable legislation and policies for safe operation of vehicle and equipment.

Fleet Mechanic Requirements:

Applicants must be reliable, customer-oriented, and willing to be part of a team.
Must be able to work flexible hours.
Have a strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
Have strong communication, listening, and math skills.

Ability to work independently and a team to support the group effort.
Candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs. and be able to, but not limited to, sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
Valid Driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle record check. Background Check/Drug screen
